We bought a 1963 split-level home in Jan. 2012 and since we have been in we have stripped wallpaper out of 4 rooms, painted 10 rooms, gutted the kitchen and redesigned the whole kitchen, dining room and living room layout and put in french draining in the basement. You may be asking yourself why did they buy this house if they had all this work to do? Well we loved the layout of the house and it was something we could make our own, rather than buying a house where someone had renovated it but it wasn't our taste. Since we have lived through construction before, we knew we could handle it!
Why stop the projects, I mean money grows on trees right? We are on to the next project which is the main bathroom.
Here are a few before pictures of the main bathroom. Love the fish wallpaper!!!!!
End of Day 1 demolition:
Now the new tiled shower with the accent tiles.
Today the new floor goes in and then we are in the home stretch with painting this weekend and installation of a new vanity, toilet and finishing touches next week!
