They say the toughest part of moving is packing things up. I would tend to disagree and say it is trying to figure out where you want to put everything once it is unpacked. Two weeks after move in and I will finally put up some before and afters.
Moving on the to the upstairs now since the rest of the downstairs is still in a little disaray (those photos will come later in the week).

New stairs: (lead to a hallway)
New Spare Bedroom #1: We did a bedroom furniture swap with my parents for the time being. This bed was my mom's moms and was given to me by her. I love the canopy feel and the double bed fits much better than our queen sleigh bed would right now.
Rewind 4 years ago today: March 23, 2005, I was just getting ready to go to the house for a final walkthrough before closing at 11am. The house was still a mess and I didn't think I was going to be closing. The owners were in the house packing up there van of stuff and putting garbage out. I was destined to be on a flight to Florida with Scott later that afternoon for a week in Orlando with his family for Easter. I did close on the house that day (few hours later than expected and rushed off to the airport) and here is what is looked like that day.

After: (the green trellace is gone in front but haven't taken an updated picture yet)

After: (now a half bath downstairs)
